every day i am busy with my office work
envelopped high in cell phone meetings
and really find no time to say hello in greeting
all my family members
 don't trust my words of holidaying too.
some how I am pulling on so and so
with no major hassles in day to day life.

Then came the Xmas holidays
of sure they pinch my pockets and purse.
the children are busy noting down their wish list
to be eventually submitted to Santa
 for transmission of gifts to be delivered at their bed side.

while all the family members are jubiliant  and ecstatic
i feel the pinches my purse  that are  likely to be  not so enthusiastic.
