asked the flowers

about the color of her skin

it smilingly replied it is pink

I  delightfully eclaimed "it will sync"

Eagerly questioned the waves

about her communication speed

it said "highly understandable."

i feel immensely pleased, it is acceptable.

interrogated the sky

about the depth of the affection.

it immediately retorted with a question Why?

and there after exhibited its large expanse.

I  asked the lake waters

about her purity of heart.

"not at all a desert"

they replied in cool tempers.

it tasted me like the much desired dessert.

I  enquired about the possession of fire

and the intensity of love

it said till now "no affair"

i felt it to be totally fair 

Then I decided to propose.

I ardently hope she won't oppose

let me wait till the "valentines day" and decide

whether I am strictly on the right side

 or wise better  to be otherwise.
